Deanna Bufo Novak is the author of
My Heritage
Book and founder of its publisher, kidsHeritage, Inc. Her idea
for this unique children's book started in early 2004, shortly
after the birth of her daughter. After a year and a half of
active development, she launched this very special personalized
children's book.
Originally from New York, Deanna received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Communications (Journalism and Sociology majors) from
the University of Miami in 1996. She received her Juris Doctor
degree, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, where she
served as Articles Editor on the Law Review. In 2001, Deanna
received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami. She
has been a member of the Florida Bar since October of 2000.
While completing her LL.M., Deanna began working as an associate
for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami, where she later advanced to
senior associate. She and a colleague then opened a general law
practice, where she concentrated on tax and corporate law and
served as the office manager. Beginning in 2004, Deanna
performed contract work for various law firms and accounting
firms, providing her the flexibility to spend time with her
daughter and follow her dream of creating
My Heritage Book.
Deanna is an active fundraiser for the American Cancer Society
and has served on the committee for its signature event, Relay
for Life, for the past four years. She enjoys spending her free
time with her husband, Scott, and children, Samantha and
Nicholas. When she
is not spending time with her family, Deanna enjoys traveling,
reading, and writing. |
